07/09/2013,22:47:35,kelleyelliott,Update from the NOAA Ship Okeanos Explorer. We are currently conduct CTD operations at today's dive site, including water sample collection for nutrient analysis. CTD operations will be conducted until approximately 2100 EDT. Upon completion, multibeam and singlebeam mapping     operations will commence and will focus on holiday fill lines over previous Atlantic Canyons mapping data. Mapping operations will cease in the early morning on 7/10 and the ship will steam to the  day's dive site, which is focused on exploring a series of pockmarks, spanning up to several hundred meters wide and over 70 meters deep, sitting in 600 meters of water between Nantucket and Veatch Canyons. The ROV is expected to be deployed for tomorrow's dive at 0830.
