This is Dive 09, on Green Canyon (GC) block 470. This is an exploration dive, on a high within this area which previous bathymetric and acoustic mapping has identified a number of potential seep localities. We will proceed around the perimeter of this high in a general clockwise fashion. We expect ~6 hrs on the seafloor, but that will be dependent on weather. Along the way, we will be investigating interesting outcrops/geology and biological discoveries. The water depth will vary slightly, but will be in the vicinity of 1000-1100 m. 04/21/2012,14:21:15,Jamie Austin,Vehicles are passing 200 m. 04/21/2012,14:25:27,Jamie Austin,Vehicles passing 300 m. 04/21/2012,14:29:50,Jamie Austin,Vehicles passing 400 m. 04/21/2012,14:31:24,catrionamunro,Good morning everyone.
